Temple’s 129th Commencement took place Friday, May 6, at 10 a.m. The main ceremony was held in the Liacouras Center at 1776 N. Broad St. Though Commencement is an annual event, we know it marks a major milestone in the lives of our graduates. With each year comes a new crop of talented and driven alumni, ready to effect change in all they do! Join us in celebrating the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2016.

Honorary Degree Recipients
Since 1890, Temple University has awarded close to 900 honorary (typically doctorate) degrees to outstanding leaders, artists, scientists, and professionals from all walks of life whose values and achievements exemplify the mission and ideals of the university. This honor recognizes recipients' extraordinary accomplishments, celebrates their life achievements, and signifies the highest level of respect.
