Employment Options: F-1 Students
F-1 Students are eligible to work on-campus for up to 20 hours per week during the Fall and Spring semesters without applying for a specific work authorization. Please click HERE for more information regarding on-campus employment.
There are four types of off-campus employment authorization F-1 students may apply for. The table below describes the types of employment and the eligibility criteria you must meet in order to apply.
You MAY NOT begin any type of employment (this includes any orientations, training, etc.) until you have received authorization to do so from the ISSS Office or USCIS.
Each of the "types of employment" is a link. Please click on the name of the employment to obtain the information necessary to submit an application.
