Clinical Programs

Imagine a doctor's office where you're treated with dignity and respect. There's always a physician on call, even after hours. There's never a long wait and it's easy to schedule an appointment.

The doctor cares for your entire family - you, your children, and even your parents. The office gladly accepts your insurance and handles all the paperwork. And most importantly, you receive the high level of care given by Temple physicians. It's easy to imagine, because it's right here at Temple Family Physicians.

Family Medicine includes:

  • Wellness and preventive care
  • Women's healthcare - routine gynecologic and prenatal care
  • Well baby care and immunizations
  • Pediatric care
  • Adolescent care
  • Adult medicine
  • Geriatric care

In addition to comprehensive treatment for:

  • Diabetes
  • Hypertension
  • Congestive heart failure
  • Asthma
  • Common dermatologic problems
  • Minor injuries
  • Minor surgery
  • Dermatology

As noted above, the Department of Family and Community Medicine maintains a clinical practice on the Temple University Health Sciences Center Campus. All of the members of the Department are board-certified and provide comprehensive care to patients of all ages. Preventive health care and the application of evidence-based medicine are central components of our practice. Most of the members of the Department of Family and Community Medicine also provide routine prenatal care. The office is a modern and well equipped office with facilities for the performance of minor surgical procedures, flexible sigmoidoscopy, and colposcopy. Our staff are bilingual in Spanish and English.
