Bill came to Temple in April of 2006. As Director for University Housing Maintenance Operations, he is primarily responsible for overseeing building maintenance in all Temple residence halls. Bill places a strong emphasis on staff development and morale, customer service culture, technology integration, and program support.
Prior to his arrival at Temple, Bill managed Environmental Services (housekeeping) operations in the healthcare sector. Immediately before Temple Bill worked for Sodexo, assigned to accounts at Virtua Health (NJ), and Frankford Health System (now Aria Health). Prior to his employment with Sodexo, Bill worked for University of Pennsylvania Health System, the DuPont Institute, and Germantown Hospital & Medical Center.
He has a Master's Degree in Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania, and a bachelor's degree in Communications from Ohio University.
Originally from upstate New York, Bill has lived in Philadelphia long enough to consider it home. Bill’s leisure time passion is the sport of rugby. He is certified as a coach with USA Rugby, and has coached the men’s clubs at University of Pennsylvania, LaSalle University and most recently assisted with the Temple program. He is a member of, and has functioned as an administrator and coach for Schuylkill River Exiles, a senior Men’s rugby club in Philadelphia. Additionally, Bill is currently serving on the Men’s Collegiate Committee of the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union.
Bill also dabbles in home brewing, enjoys reading fiction and video games and LOVES hanging out with his kids, when they let him.
