What do you do in the Education Abroad office?
I manage the finances for the department and the Saint Andrew Society scholarship competition.

Where did you go to school and what did you study?
I have both undergraduate and graduate degrees in history from Temple University. I spent a year in Edinburgh, Scotland as a St. Andrew's scholar in '90-'91, followed by a summer in France - first in Amboise, then in Paris. Then I did a year at Temple Rome in '91-'92 and spent that summer in Lausanne, Switzerland.

What is your most memorable abroad experience?
Seeing the Aurora Borealis at night, being on top of Mount Vesuvius and looking into the crater and down at Pompeii, hiking in the Scottish highlands.
What is your favorite part of working in Education Abroad?
The opportunity to send so many students overseas and see how many of them come back transformed.
