Professional Development Programs

Temple's Center City campus hosts many professional non-credit courses leading to certificates in the following areas:

Temple University in partnership with Kaplan Financial, offers the Certificate in Financial Planning (CFP) Certificate PRograms. This accelerated Certificate in Financial Planning program is designed around the demanding schedules of working professionals. It benefits both experienced professionals seeking to advance their careers and those entering the field. The next session of the CFP program will begin in September 2014. Classes are held at the Temple University Center City campus. This program is administered through the Temple University Ambler Office of Non-Credit and Continuing Education.

The Accounting Office Specialist Certificate Program teaches basic business operations and proper accounting procedures. The FOUR required courses are: (1) Black Belt Accounting: Fundamentals for the Non-Accountant Part I; (2) Black Belt Accounting: Fundamentals for the Non-Accountant Part II; Excel 2013: Level I; QuickBooks 2013. SOCIAL MEDIA
In order to obtain the Certificate in Social Media, participants must complete the following FIVE courses: (1) Social Media 101; (2) Facebook 101; (3) LinkedIn 101; (4) Twitter 101; (5) Search Engine Optimization.
