Undergraduate Certificate in Chamber Music

Deepen your technical expertise and expand your performance experience with an Undergraduate Certificate in Chamber Music in Temple University's Boyer College of Music and Dance. In this 14-credit program, you’ll focus on solo performance through private lessons with faculty, large and small group performance experience, and playing in chamber ensembles. Explore topics in music theory, both written and aural.

Open to all undergraduates, this certificate allows students to participate in the vibrant energy of Temple’s Center for the Performing and Cinematic Arts. Located on Main Campus, this complex contains eight performance venues, and holds more than 1,400 annual arts events. Certificate students can attend lectures, master classes, performances, productions and screenings to supplement their music education.

Classes & Curriculum

Students pursuing the Chamber Music Undergraduate Certificate can complete their program in four or six semesters. Courses will include

  • Instrumental Ensemble,
  • Instrumental Lessons and
  • Music Theory.
