Jessica Meller joined the Office of University Counsel in May 2023 as Associate University Counsel, Labor & Employment.
She began her career at the law firm of Saul Ewing in Philadelphia. She practiced there for nearly seven years, serving higher education and corporate clients. She left Saul Ewing to transition to an in-house role in the Office of General Counsel at Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey. At Rutgers, Jess practiced labor and employment law. This included handling complaints with various state and federal agencies and representing Rutgers in labor arbitrations.
Jess received her B.A. in Psychology and International Studies from The Pennsylvania State University and her J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law. Jess is a Philly native and resident.
