Temple Karate Club is a student run martial arts club that teaches traditional Shotokan Karate. Temple Karate promotes the development of good character and physical fitness based on the 5 most important Dojo Kun (principles):

(1) Seek Perfection of Character

(2) Be Faithful

(3) Endeavor

(4) Respect Other

(5) Refrain from Violent Behavior

Our goal is to train our mind and bodies to develop strength, stamina, and self-discipline. Karate is more than just a traditional martial art; it is a life philosophy.

In the summer of 2022, members of the club participated in the 57th East Coast Shotokan Karate Championships with distinction. In the Fall Semester, our club attended the East Coast Fall Camp as well as the 42nd Annual ISKF US Nationals & International Goodwill Karate Championships.

We encourage anyone to join the team regardless of martial arts experience! If you are interested, make sure to register on DoSportsEasy. If you have any questions, email us at tuowlskarate@gmail.com or DM us on Instagram @templekarateclub!
