The indoor track is located on the third floor of the IBC Student Recreation Center. The track is 314 meters with three lanes designed for running, jogging, and walking. In addition to the track lanes, the track area has four stretching areas, two speed bags, two heavy bags, and a lap clock. Additionally, several pieces of cardio equipment are also available on the indoor track: ellipticals, AMT's, upright bikes, and recumbent bikes. 

Indoor Track Policies

  1. All walkers are to use the inside lane on the track.
  2. All joggers are to use the two outside lanes on the track.
  3. Sprinting is prohibited.
  4. Only two persons abreast maximum while walking or jogging around the track
  5. Food and non-sealed beverages are restricted to 1st floor lounge area. All drinks must be in a sealed, non-glass container while on track.
  6. Proper footwear is required at all times. Proper footwear is defined as footwear that has a rubber, non-marking sole and covers the entire heel and top of the foot.
  7. Surveillance cameras are located at each of the four turns above the track to provide security during all hours of operation on the track.
  8. Emergency pull cords that alert security are located in each corner of the track.
  9. Strollers and roller skates are not permitted on the indoor track.
